Justin Bieber heading to SA this week - here is what you need to know

The Purpose World Tour is heading to Johannesburg this weekend, after making a turn in India.

Justin Bieber Purpose

The Biebs, who has a massive teen following, will be performing at the FNB Stadium on Mother's Day, almost exactly four years after his first visit to South Africa.

Concert organisers Big Concerts released information ahead of the performances in Cape Town and Johannesburg, as a safety precaution.

The organisers say that no camping will be allowed outside the venue, while no one will be allowed to queue outside the venue until 10am on the day of the show.

We all know that Beliebers are desperate to get as close to their idol as possible, with some girls standing in line days before his performances.

"If you fail to comply with this requirement and refuse to vacate the area after being instructed to do so by security or the South African Police Service, we reserve the right to confiscate your ticket," Big Concerts warns.

Big Concerts also reminded fans who are younger than 14 years of age that they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

"No one under 12 years or anyone that is shorter than 1.2 metres, will be permitted onto the Front Zone Standing or General Admission field standing areas for safety and security reasons," they say.

They also urge parents of children between the ages of 14-18 years to make sure that an emergency contact number is saved on their phones under the name ICE (In Case of Emergency)
