Karen & Karlien perform for Bikers For Mandela Day
Updated | By MornéJK
Afrikaans rock queen, Karen Zoid and pop princess, Karlien van Jaarsveld embarked on the annual Bikers For Mandela Day last week.
The duo recorded the 5 day trip on social media, posting photos of them doing charity work along the Bikers For Mandela Day route.
The annual event sees a group of celebrities embark on a route determined by Nelson Mandela's former personal assistant, Zelda la Grange.
They devote themselves to bettering the lives of ordinary South Africans as part of their efforts to promote international Nelson Mandela Day on the 18th of July.
This year the Bikers For Mandela Day's theme is aimed at fighting the abuse against women and children.
Various events are taking place across the world today, with people devoting 67 minutes of their lives to a worthy cause, a minute for every year Madiba sacrificed in serving South Africa.
