Michael Lowman: I sing from the heart
Updated | By MornéJK
It has been four years since his last album but Michael Lowman says he doesn't want to release music just for the sake of it.

He says his new album, Pop Radio, is completely different from his previous one.
"Sonically it is different. I wanted to change the perception of who my supporters think I am as a musician," Lowman says.
In between finding love and a slight sense of independence, Michael wrote Pop Radio at the end of 2015 in just under a month, but only decided to release it this year.
"Most think I'm the guy who plays acoustic guitar in my room, melancholy tears dropping on one of many scribbled out notebooks - and they'd be almost exactly right, but I'm so much more than that," he says.

He adds that he is not aiming to sell millions of albums, but that his expectation for this album is to question who you think Michael Lowman is.
"I want you to know that this album is the gate holding back the flood that is my musical capabilities, and that when it drops, there's nothing anyone can do or say that will stop the torrent of music that will accompany the rest of my life."
