More international accolades for Terry Pheto
Internationally award-winning South African actress, Terry Pheto, is set to attend the 4th annual International Achievement Recognition Awards (IARA Awards) in London this Saturday.
She is the most nominated actor this year with nominations for Best Actress and Best International Actress 2017 for her role in A United Kingdom.
She is also up for Best Actress in a TV series or Drama for her role in the BET Nelson Mandela series.
The IARA Awards recognises and celebrates the exceptional work of extraordinary positive role models who have excelled within their respective industries.
“I’m attending the IARA Awards ceremony this weekend to acknowledge my nominations. I do what I do for the love of the craft, and not for the recognition," she says.
Pheto adds that being recognised is always humbling and that she appreciates the accolades.
Known to command international award ceremonies’ red carpets with her influencial fashion sense, we are looking forward to seeing what local creation she will sport this weekend.
