Noah Cyrus duets with Blake Shelton on 'New Country'
"I love this song. I must have played it at least a hundred times."
Noah Cyrus has teamed up with country star Blake Shelton on an emotional song called 'New Country'.
'The track is featured on her alternative folk album, 'I Want My Loved Ones to Go with Me.'
"This is a new country, this is foreign land/ This is wide open, baby, just take my hand/ This is skydiving, this is blind faith," she sings.
Shelton also appears in the song's music video. They perform the song in a barn.
"Their voices complement each other so well," one YouTuber said.
Another added: "Honestly, I don't think Noah realises just how good she is. Such a beautiful voice! Love her!"
'I Want My Loved Ones to Go with Me' is Cyrus' second studio album. She has released two other singles from the music project: 'Don't Put It All On Me' and 'I Saw The Mountains'.
She released the album on her grandfather's birthday, July 11.
"My album title 'I Want My Loved Ones to Go with Me' is the name of a hymn featured on the record in a song called 'Apple Tree', written by my great-grandfather, whom I’m named after, Eldon Lindsey Cyrus, and sung by my Pappy, Ron Cyrus," she said.
Lindsey is her middle name.
"I’m confident my pappy is celebrating his big debut up in heaven with all of our loved ones who left too soon before us. I am so grateful to come from a lineage where music runs through our veins and connects us back our ancestors and back to who we are."
The 25-year-old is the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. Her older sister, Miley Cyrus, is also a famous singer.
The 'Make Me (Cry)' singer recently held an album release show in London.
Her father and his new partner, Elizabeth Hurley, attended the show.
"Thank you always to my incredibly talented band and to my father, who I love so dearly, for joining us. We got to sing 'Stand Still' and 'With You', which is actually a song my father wrote from his childhood bedroom and was one of the first songs he ever wrote," she said on Instagram.
She describes 'With You' as a song of comfort that her father often sang to her.
'It meant so much to me to be singing it together and share that moment with one another. It’s always been the gift of music that's brought us together."
Billy Ray says he had an amazing night with his daughter and her band.
"Full circle. Thank you for sharing your incredible talent, voice, songwriting and pure showmanship with Elizabeth and I, and all the passionate and wonderful fans who were there in perfect harmony," he said.
