Nicole Richie argues about candy
Nicole Richie says she and husband Joel Madden argue about candy, as she wants their kids to have healthy diets.
The reality TV star, who has daughter Harlow, seven, and six-year-old son Sparrow with her rocker husband, admits they don't always agree when it comes to their children's diets and she is reluctant to introduce them to oversized chocolate bars and sweet treats.
Asked about their plans for Halloween next weekend, the 34-year-old beauty said: "We're having a heated discussion about [candy] at home. Because I think that kids want to take little candies in their hands and look like they have a lot, and my husband wants to give the big oversized candies. I don't like that, and I don't think it's healthy, and he thinks I'm being nerdy."
The couple are planning to celebrate the upcoming spooky holiday in a traditional way and Nicole insists they aren't planning to do anything special with Joel's sister-in-law Cameron Diaz.
The 'Candidly Nicole' star told E! News: "Halloween's really about my kids, and they have friends of theirs and they want to trick-or-treat with their friends, so that's basically what we're going to be doing."
