Miss South Africa 2017 and medical doctor, Dr Adè van Heerden, shared the exciting news that she and her boyfriend, Alex Forsyth-Thompson, are engaged!

The beauty queen shared the news on her Instagram page, captioning the pictures with Proverbs 31 verses 10-12.
"Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts her; So he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil All the days of her life."
She added that it was the easiest "yes" of her life.
"Trusting God with the details of our relationship lead us to this moment! And now, I get to marry my best friend @alexforsy," she added.
