Rockers Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood are set to perform at the Ciudad Deportiva de la Habana in Havana on March 25, at the first open air concert in the country by a British rock band.

The Rolling Stones said: "We have performed in many special places during our long career but this show in Havana is going to be a landmark event for us, and, we hope, for all our friends in Cuba too."

'Concert for Amity' with the Rolling Stones will be filmed and produced by production company JA Digital with Paul Dugdale directing and Simon Fisher and Sam Bridger as producers.

Julie Jakobek of JA Digital said: "It's a great honour to be working with the Rolling Stones again on this hugely exciting and historic event."

The Rolling Stones will perform in Cuba after finishing up their 'America Latina Ole' stadium tour across Santiago, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Rio De Janeiro, São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Lima, Bogotá and Mexico City.

They are also leading a musician to musician initiative in which musical instruments and equipment are being donated by major suppliers for the benefit of Cuban musicians of all genres.
