SA singer, Tresor collaborates with The Soil
Updated | By MorneJK
Four-time SAMA nominated singer, songwriter and producer Tresor released his brand new single, “Cachet” feat. The Soil.
The heartfelt song, written and produced by Tresor Riziki, Buhle Gertrude Mda, Luphindo Ngxanga & Ntsike Fana Ngxanga (The Soil), is a dedication to all TRESOR’s lost loved ones and the recent passing of legendary musicians Papa Wemba and Prince.
The song includes lyrics in English, Xhosa, French and Swahili and describes the impact people have on your life while living and their influence long after they’ve passed on.
The Chorus translates to “You’ll always be engraved deep in my heart | I patiently wait for the day we’ll meet again | You’ll always be engraved deep in my heart | Not even the end of this world will tear us apart.”
Manager, Benza about the song, “Of all the songs that Tresor has become famous for, this song with the award winning The Soil, is truly a heartfelt and enduring song that we can all empathise with.
This song is the signature song on the album and the most personal of TRESOR’s many great songs.
