The 50-year-old actress and producer revealed she had an unconventional upbringing with her actress mother Mary Davidson and late artist father David Vaughan and he even made her part of his bizarre exhibits.

She explained: "He did a lot of installation art.

"He tied me to a crucifix outside the Royal College of Art in London telling me I was a reincarnation of Jesus.

"He made me stand there all day in my pants but did say he would buy me an ice cream afterwards."

The fashion designer, whose father died aged 58 in 2003, was also forced to take showers in tracksuits and was banned from eating red foods during his "colour-therapy phase" by the British eccentric.

The mother-of-four - who has previously been married to actor Jude Law and Spandau Ballet guitarist Gary Kemp - added her favourite treats are cheese sandwiches and the mousse-like dessert product Angel Delight

She told Event magazine: "I love crisps and cheese sandwiches.

"To this day, I still love Angel Delight. It was a craze when I was at Italia Conti and everyone was eating it."
