South African film and television actors stepped out in glits and glam the past weekend for the annual South African Film and Television Awards that took place at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand.
The fashion was - as always - something out of this word with Bonang Matheba stepping that sported a gorgeous purple Gert-Johan Coetzee creation while the gents also took it up a notch.
But the biggest buzz is around American actor, Samuel L. Jackson that made a surprise appearance at the SAFTAs to present an award.
Jackson presented the Best Actress in a Feature Film award to Lindiwe Ndlovu for her role in Little One.
The actor is currently in South Africa filming his latest movie, in which SA actress Christina Storm will also be seen in action.
