Sanele Mkhize leaves Idols SA
Updated | By MornéJK
Singer Sanele Mkhize was the first of the Idols SA Top 10 to get the boot after South Africans voted for their favourite.

The Top Nine was revealed in a two hour-long show at the Pretoria State Theatre on Sunday evening.
The first person to breathe a sigh of relief and make the Top 9 was Terra Cox, who opened up the stage with New Flame by Chris Brown - a song chosen by judge Randall Abrahams.
It was a showdown between Thami and Sanele, who were in the bottom two this week. Thami managed to squeeze into the Top 9.
Both had not had the best performance the previous week, but after his name was called, Thami promised Mzansi that he will never forget lyrics again.

Unathi, who had suggested Thami's song, was pronounced the 2016 winner of the Judges' Choice competition, gaining her bragging right for the rest of the season.
Next week, the Top Nine will be shaved to eight, and it's all up to the voting public to keep their favourites in the competition.
Let's get voting!
