Storm making waves on SA music scene

He’s one of the freshest faces on the local pop scene and Storm rocked a sold out showcase at The Venue in Melrose Arch earlier this month.

He performed his hit singles and mingled with fans while sharing his inspirational journey.

 

The showcase was preceded by a meet-and-greet session where fans can spend time with the 17-year-old. 


As he a young artist in a tough industry, Storm is passionate about the country’s youth and inspired many at the showcase to follow their dreams – no matter how tough the road is.

Storm was joined on stage by Idols South Africa finalist Nadia Herbst and Ashlinn Gray. “I was honoured to have Nadia and Ashlinn perform with me on the night,” Storm says. “There is so much talent in South Africa and we want to inspire the youth to reach for the stars.”

The singer has also revealed that all proceeds from the event will be handed out to various charities which encourage the youth to make their dreams a reality – no matter what their circumstances are. 


Storm is a huge believer of giving back and couldn’t think of a more worthy cause.

Storm’s current single ‘Get Ready’ is doing incredibly well on radio stations around the country. 


The track, produced by the legendary Alexis Faku, shows a different side of Storm and the reception has been phenomenal. The track is available on iTunes now.
