Top SA bands to open for Bastile
Updated | By MornéJK
It has been confirmed, Monark, Matthew Mole, Tresor and Opposite the Other will open for Bastille.
In just a few weeks, award winning British band Bastille will touch down in South Africa for a three-city tour.
The band that wowed the world with the smash album Bad Blood and the massive global hit Pompeii won’t be the only class act entertaining Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban crowds in October; several top local bands will be blasting out their hits as opening acts.
Singer songwriter Matthew Mole will be performing at all three concerts.
Adding to the line-up in Cape Town and Johannesburg is Opposite The Other.
The young band has quickly risen to musical fame with their first ever single ‘Ride Away’ charting at No. 8 on the Spotify Global Viral Charts.
Durban will be a tour highlight for Bastille lead singer Dan Smith as his parents met in the coastal city.
Supporting acts to open for Bastille in Durban include Tresor and Matthew Mole.
