South Africa's favourite son Trevor Noah is now a Grammy-nominated artist.
The Daily Show host tweeted the news: "Today I woke up to the news that I’ve been nominated for a Grammy Award!!! I’m so grateful."

Noah is nominated for the Best Comedy Album for his stand-up special ‘Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia’.
The nomination is for an audio recording of the special.
This after he was recently announced as the fourth highest-paid comedian in the world according to Forbes.
