Twitter's priceless reaction to Miss SA's national costume
It was a costume of labour and love.
Miss South Africa Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters is set to grace the Miss Universe stage donning a national costume inspired by the protea.
The design is meant to capture the colours and aesthetic of South Africa's indigenous fauna and flora.
The national costume was unveiled at Nel-Peters' official farewell at Time Square in Menlyn, Pretoria, on Thursday.

Some say the costume is absolutely exquisite while others are questioning whether it's a true reflection of what our country has to offer.
