The Voice SA's Chris Werge releases new single
24-year-old Cape Town based singer-songwriter, Chris Werge, has released his debut album after becoming a contestant on The Voice South Africa talent show.
Fans from all over the country have been holding their breaths in anticipation to hear his latest release, ‘On My Mind’.
The catchy and irresistible folk-pop single drops this week on iTunes and on all digital download platforms worldwide.
Chris’ melting voice combined with subtle hints of traditional South African guitar riffs, pulsing kick drum and sweet soulful lyrics make ‘On My Mind’ the song to have on repeat.
“I have learnt that success is not an overnight achievement, it is about consistent effort over a sustained period.” Chris talks about his rise to success.
“I wrote the song to express the anxiety felt in a relationship, wanting to know the outcome based on what the other person felt.”
