1 killed in Durban balcony collapse

At least one person was killed when a balcony collapsed at a building in Durban Tuesday morning.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst says paramedics arrived on the scene to find that one person sustained fatal injuries.
At least 5 people taken to hospital, according to the KwaZulu-Natal emergency services

"Multiple people are believed to be trapped inside the collapsed concrete structure,” says Herbst.
"The SAPS search and rescue, metro police search and rescue as well as the eThekwini fire and rescue services are on scene and conducting rescue efforts.”
