10 killed in Eldorado Park crash
Ten people, including three children, were in a
collision between a taxi and a car on the R553 Golden Highway in
Eldorado Park on Wednesday morning.
ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring says a number of people were also seriously injured.
"Several people were found scattered around the scene. Medics assessed the patients and found that ten people, including three children under 10, had sustained numerous, fatal injuries."
Meiring says the victims were all declared dead on the scene.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
