The Elders planted 100 trees at the Sparks of Hope Peace Park in honour of late former president Nelson Mandela.

The forum, which consists of a group of independent world leaders, honoured the Madiba on what would have been his 100th birthday.
His widow Graca Machel delivered a heart-warming speech during the ceremony.
"On behalf of my follow elders, it is our privilege to stand in this beautiful park which we call the 100 Sparks of Hope Peace Park.

"These trees are tiny, and some of your organisations are tiny, but resilient and mighty in strength and courage.
"Together they make an entire park with an impact that will grow over time and in the next 100 years they will become giants, this is what the legacy of Madiba illuminates," she said.
Machel will later address the crowds at the Wanderers Stadium, alongside President Cyril Ramaphosa and former US President Barack Obama, at the annual Nelson Mandela Lecture.
Obama is set to deliver the keynote address.
