10111 strike temporarily suspended
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
The strike by operators at 10111 Emergency Call Centres across the country has been called off amid ongoing negotiations.

Employees belonging to the South African Police Union (SAPU) embarked on a strike as part of their demand for better salaries.
SAPU President Mpho Kwinika says they met with mediators of the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) on Sunday.
"In that meeting we decided that we will put the strike on temporary suspension pending the mediation and that we will give the Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (POPCRU) time to decide whether they want to join the mediation or not and they need to give consent by 26 July," Kwinika says.
Kwinika says they will continue with mediation on Friday.
"On 28 July we will know exactly what is going to happen and we will update the public," Kwinika says.
