12 unlicensed guns found in Lesedi
Updated | By Staff Writer

Twelve unlicensed firearms have been found in a storeroom at the Lesedi Municipality in Heidelberg, Gauteng police said on Thursday.
They were discovered on Tuesday after police were alerted, said Constable William Tshabangu. Police investigations showed that the firearms were not declared or handed in to police for safe keeping, pending application processes. "No one accounted for those firearms," said Tshabangu. A case of possession of unlicensed firearms was opened, and police were investigating, said Tshabangu.
