1995 Springboks inducted into SA Sports Hall Of Fame

The Springbok players who won South Africa the 1995 Rugby World Cup have been inducted in the SA Sports Hall Of Fame in Sun City on Thursday night.

The team won the coveted Webb Ellis trophy during the final at Ellis Park on 24 June 1995 - exactly 21 years ago today.
The class of 1995 was honoured at a glitzy event at Sun City where they were inducted into the SA Sport Hall of Fame.

1995 Captain, Francois Pienaar made no secret of the fact that even hardened rugby players have soft hearts when it came to remembering a pivotal time in SA history.
Former President Nelson Mandela was also inducted, along with legendary sports commentator, Hugh Bladen.
