A total of 255 people were arrested at the weekend in Lenasia and Soweto, Gauteng police said on Sunday.
A total of 255 people were arrested at the weekend in Lenasia and Soweto, Gauteng police said on Sunday.
Police conducted raids in Lenasia, Lenasia South, Protea Glen, Jabulani, Naledi, Moroka and Dobsonville, said Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela.
People were arrested in connection with hijackings, armed robbery, rape, possession of stolen cars, and property and drug dealing.
The 255 would appear in various courts soon.
