The family was woken by the fire during the early hours of Monday morning.

Police in Limpopo have launched a manhunt for suspects behind the deaths of 27 goats in their kraal in Mecklenburg, south-east of Polokwane.
"The family members were allegedly awoken by the frantic noises made by the animals and upon investigation, they found the entire kraal engulfed in huge fire," reads a statement by the police.
Provincial spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo says the fire destroyed the structure and "burnt all goats beyond recognition".
Police are yet to determine the motive for the incident but has called on residents with information to come forward.
They have also urged residents not to resort to violence, but rather to approach the police.
