3 arrested for stealing cellphone tower batteries in Durban

Police in KwaZulu-Natal have arrested three men for stealing batteries from a cellphone tower in Monteseel near Durban.
Provincial police spokesperson Thembeka Mbhele says they received a report of a break-in at the cellphone tower.
"Upon seeing the police officers, three men emerged from the tower and sped off in their vehicle. A chase ensued as the suspects fled from the scene.
"The driver of the vehicle lost control and the vehicle capsized on a sharp corner. Two suspects were arrested at the scene.”
The third suspect was injured and transported to the nearest hospital.
