School children are believed to be amongst the 32 people injured when three taxis collided in Roodepoort on Tuesday morning.

The tree taxis collided at the Main Reef and Elias Motswaledi Road intersection in Roodepoort.
According to ER24, patients that had been inside the taxi at the time of the collision were found walking around on the scene as well as seated on the grassy embankment.
"Metro services had to close off the road and divert traffic due to the number of vehicles and patients on the scene. A triage area was set up as to allow paramedics to assess all the patients properly," ER24 said.
Some of the patients were children, aged between 10 and 18, on their way to school.
ER24 said the patients were treated for their injuries and thereafter transported to various hospitals for further treatment.
