5 bodies found in Eastern Cape forest

Eastern Cape police have launched a manhunt for an unknown number of suspects in connection with the discovery of five bodies near Bhulwini Forest.

The bodies were found last week.
Eastern Cape police spokesperson Tembinkosi Kinana says the bodies were discovered by workers in the area.
The victims were badly assaulted.
“Police were alerted to the incident and on arrival they found the bodies piled up on top of each and with blood on their faces. Four of the deceased’s hands were tied with rope behind their backs.The deceased were later identified by their families and five counts of murder cases were opened for investigation," says Kinana.
No weapons were found at the scene.
The motive for the killings is unknown.
