Eighty-eight employees were injured when the floor of a fishing company collapsed at the Port Elizabeth harbour, paramedics said on Friday.

"Netcare 911 and the provincial services arrived at the scene and after triaging found four people with critical injuries, twenty five with serious injuries, and fifty nine that sustained minor injuries," Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said.
The injured were stabilised on scene and were then transported to various hospitals for medical assistance.
The top floor of Eyethu Fishing collapsed on Thursday at about 8pm, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg said at the time.
"Details to the cause of the collapse are still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation," said Botha.
