The social media giant has been severely criticised for the scandal.

Facebook has confirmed more than 96 000 South Africans have been affected by the Cambridge Analytica data breach.
In a reply to South Africa's information regulator, Facebook says 13 people in South Africa downloaded the YourDigitalLife App between 2013 and 2015.
It says it then affected the friends of the people who installed the app.
Facebook says it is in the process of contacting all those who were affected by the Cambridge Analytica data breach.
"We have informed the Information Regulator with the accurate current numbers and continue to contact all those affected," a Facebook spokesperson said in a statement.
The company's founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has already appeared before US lawmakers to answer questions about the scandal.
A former Cambridge Analytica employee says worldwide more than the estimated 87 million people had their data extracted by the political consultancy.
The firm, used by US president Donald Trump's campaign, accessed users' private information, allegedly to identify personalities and possibly influence their behaviour.
The New York Times, which has seen some of the data, says it includes identities, friend networks and "likes".
