A mixed weather bag kicks off the Christmas week end
It takes all forms of weather to lead us into Christmas, with very hot conditions in the far north and cool weather in the most southern tip.
Gauteng: Cloudy and warm with scattered afternoon and evening thundershowers, but isolated in the north.

Mpumalanga: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered on the southern Highveld where it will be cool. It will be very hot in the Lowveld.

Limpopo: Partly cloudy and hot but very hot in the Lowveld, Western Bushveld and Limpopo Valley. Isolated thundershowers are expected over the central and western parts from afternoon.

North West: Cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers, but widespread over the central parts. It will become partly cloudy in the afternoon from the west.
Rustenburg 20 30
Free State: Cool in the east, otherwise cloudy at times and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers. It will become partly cloudy in the afternoon from the west.
Bloemfontein: 17 29
Northern Cape: Cloudy with morning fog and drizzle along coast and adjacent interior otherwise partly cloudy and warm but warm in the central parts. It will clear from the west in the morning. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly becoming south-westerly in the afternoon.

Western Cape: Cloudy and cool in the west with morning drizzle becoming partly cloudy otherwise fine and hot to very hot over the eastern interior with isolated thundersshowers early morning . It will be cloudy and cool to warm along
the south coast. The wind along the coast will be moderate northerly along the west coast, but easterly along the south coast becoming moderate to fresh south-westerly in the afternoon.
Cape Town: 17 23
Eastern Cape: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated thundershowers in the morning. The wind along the coast will be Moderate north easterly east of PE in the morning, otherwise fresh south westerly.
EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE: Partly cloudy and warm with scattered thundershowers. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh north easterly.
Port Elizabeth: 20 28
