African Diaspora Forum says SA government does not care about migrants
Updated | By Samkelo Maseko
The African Diaspora Forum doesn't believe the South African government cares about foreign nationals.
The forum briefed the media earlier today in Yeoville about the challenges they are facing in the country.
The forum's chairperson Marc Gbaffou says just because they cannot vote - government ignores them.
Gbaffou also says their children are not being allocated places in schools in Gauteng, due to the online application system.
"There is an organised chaos by government at that department, because the affairs of migrants are not close to the hearts of government. South Africa is claiming to receive the biggest amount of migrants, but it's organising to sacrifice the lives of thousands of people in South Africa and those are the migrants," he said.
