JAYDE PANAYIOTOU MURDER - All charges have been withdrawn against the alleged middleman in the Jayde Panayiotou murder case. 


31-year old Luthando Siyoli is one of three men who were charged with orchestrating the murder of Jayde in April. Siyoli has now turned state witness. 


The case is set to resume in the Port Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow. NPA spokesperson Tshepo Ndwalaza says they believe Siyoli will be very helpful to the State...


 


CYRIL RAMAPHOSA ANSWERS QUESTIONS - Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa says they will come to an evidence based solution on the new visa regulations in South Africa. 


Ramaphosa is leading an inter-ministerial committee that will discuss the impact the new regulations have on our economy, as well as our security...


 


MIDO MACIA - The evidence of the driver of the police van that dragged Mozambican taxi driver Mido Macia through the streets of Daveyton in the East Rand, has been questioned in the High Court in Pretoria today. 


Eight former police officers stand trial for the murder of Macia, who succumbed to his injuries while detained in police holding cells in 2013.

MALI ATTACK SURVIVOR - One of the two South Africans who survived a suspected Islamic militant attack at a hotel in Mali on Friday last week, Neels Cronje, has written in detail about his ordeal during the nearly 24 hour long siege.
