Airlink Adrenaline Wonderboom Show draws massive crowd
Residents flocked to the Wonderboom Airport for the Airlink Adrenaline Show on Saturday as part of the airport's 80th birthday celebrations.
The Adrenaline Show is a combination of Hot Rod cars, muscle cars, superbikes and an air show featuring the best of the South African displays.
"The show is set to take place over the weekend 11 and 12 June, with Saturday’s main focus on the air show acts with the vehicle acts as a secondary attraction, and vice versa for the Sunday," organisers said.
Considered to be a first for South African air shows, will be the 4,1Km race track and a 950 metre drag race strip, which will give attendees a unique mix of aviation and motorsport over the two days.
