Police spokesperson Robert Neshiunda told SABC TV that AKA was killed shortly after he went into a building to do his hair and had supper.
“After that he went downstairs to have his supper in one of the restaurants. As they were walking out into their vehicle that’s when two assailants approached him from across the street and fired several shots from close range. We are not at liberty to be disclosing how many shots were fired.”
The “Fela in Versace” hitmaker was only 35 years old when he died.
Forbes shot to fame after breaking away from Hip-Hop group Entity and releasing one of his debut single “Victory Lap” in 2010.
