All races joining ANC
Updated | By Lonwabo Miso
People across all racial lines continue to join the ANC, proving it is not losing support, the party in KwaZulu-Natal said on Wednesday.
"As the support for the ANC in Indian, coloured and white communities grows significantly, the ANC yesterday [Tuesday] showed its political muscle when it welcomed 20 new members from the white community into its fold," provincial secretary Sihle Zikalala said in a statement.
"[The ANC] is an inclusive organisation which is home to everyone."
The number of people joining the African National Congress from different races was a true reflection of a society envisaged by former president Nelson Mandela and other leaders, he said.
