All systems go for voter registration

Security is being prioritised to ensure voter registration runs smoothly this weekend, police said.
The National Joint Operational and Intelligence Structure (Natjoints) spokesperson, Brigadier Vishnu Naidoo says it's received no threats of disruptions.
"We are confident the process will run smoothly. We have identified hotspot areas, but are not too concerned about these."
Natjoints includes the police, the South African National Defence Force and several other government departments.
Voter registration takes place on Saturday and Sunday.
In Vuwani in Limpopo, several roads have been blockaded.
IEC officials have also been barred from entering a number of other villages.
Residents aren't satisfied with the Municipal Demarcation Board's decision to incorporate Vuwani with Malamulele under one municipality.
The community has vowed to keep the village on lockdown until Sunday.
