Alleged Alberton hijackers arrested
Updated | By Lonwabo Miso
Two of the men were arrested on Wednesday after metro police followed up on information received from a tracker company, Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said.
The third man was later arrested at an address in Vosloorus.
The Mercedes-Benz was hijacked from a woman in Alberton on Wednesday.
"The car was fitted with two tracking devices. So even though the suspects removed the one tracker the second one gave a signal to the tracking company, who alerted the police."
The three are expected to appear in court soon.
