Analyst predicts Magashule 'won’t go down alone’
The ANC is expecting to hear feedback soon from Ace Magashule on why he shouldn't be suspended from the party.
The party's national disciplinary committee has found the former secretary-general guilty of misconduct.
It's over an attempt in a letter to suspend party president Cyril Ramaphosa in 2021.
The committee found that Magashule failed to apologise for his actions, and had brought the organisation into disrepute.

His successor, Fikile Mbalula, says Magashule's been given seven days to justify why he shouldn't be barred.
Political analyst Protas Madlala says the ANC has been left with little choice but to act against the corruption-accused former Free State premier.
"What he did is extreme and quite severe, and I think it was out of his mandate to do that.
"So he does in a way, deserve the harshest punishment - whether his expulsion or suspension because it became very personal. I do not think he is alone. If he does, he has supporters who are very high-profile as well. I don't think he will go down alone."
