Govt must include military veterans in economy, says Magashule
African National Congress (ANC) secretary-general Ace Magashule says government should ensure that all military veterans are able to participate in the country's economy
He met with leaders of uMkhonto we Sizwe Military Veterans Association (MKMVA) in KwaZulu-Natal on Tuesday following various protests in the province and in Johannesburg.
“It is important that we conduct clean governance that provides opportunities for all our citizens including military veterans," ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe said in a statement.
“We call on all military veterans formations both non-statutory and statutory to work work with the Department of Military Veterans to ensure their personnel register is cleaned up."
