ANC to lay racism complaint against CT woman

The ANC in the Western Cape will lay a complaint of racism with South African Human Rights Commission against a Cape Town woman today.
Vanessa Hartley caused outrage after a post on her Facebook, complaining about the number of 'Africans' on the beach in Hout Bay.

The ANC's Yonela Diko says this is the second recent post of this nature in the Western Cape.
DA councillor Shayne Ramsay's published post about homeless people at Sea Point.
Ramsay warned residents in her constituency to stop giving handouts to car guards, beggars and street people living in Sea Point claiming this would force them “to move elsewhere.
Diko says "We refuse to accept that this particular province, the Western Cape, is practically bound to the evil of racism. There is a sense of multiplicity of race, of culture in this province which should serve as an example for the rest of the country, but somehow because of this particular incidents, that seems to be lost."
Hartley has since apologised on Facebook, saying she did not post the comment.
