ANC: Service delivery in Tshwane will continue

The ANC in Tshwane has vowed to ensure service delivery continues while they move to the opposition benches.
The Democratic Alliance is set to lead the capital city following the local government election.
Outgoing mayor Kgosientso Ramokgopa is adamant that the poor performance at the polls would not deter the ANC from fulfilling its mandate.
The ANC's regional executive committee is set to meet next week to reflect on the reasons for the poor showing at the polls but the ANC in Tshwane says they respect the results of the elections and will continue to fight to restore the dignity of the people.
A the party gets ready to enter the opposition benches in the city leadership in the region says they will ensure that programmes started under the ANC administration are accelerated.
"There are about 15 areas that require attention and we want to restore the dignity of our people," Ramokgopa said.
Ramokgopa said it remains to be seen whether the proposed coalition gov't in the capital city, will truly transform the lives of the people.
"When we put our programmes on the agenda, we will see the true colours of the alliance," Ramokgopa said.
