The ANC’s new leadership in KwaZulu-Natal says nation building was one of the topics during its visit at the home of former president Jacob Zuma.
They paid Zuma a visit at his Nkandla home on Sunday.
The party’s provincial chair Siboniso Duma says the provincial executive committee also discussed ways it could unite the ANC.
“We also spoke about building the nation. Amongst other things is how to transfer what belongs to the people of KwaZulu-Natal and economic wealth and land. He also just advised us how to unite the province.”

The ANC in KZN has emerged from a contested provincial conference, which saw Sihle Zikalala being toppled by Duma.
This saw the emergence of two factions, namely the “Talibans” and the “Ankoles”.
The former is believed to be aligned to former president Zuma while the latter is believed to be in support of President Cyril Ramaphosa.
