The ANC Youth League on Sunday sent “a strongest message of caution to all students in institution of higher learning against the ongoing burning of university property”.

In a statement issued after the ANCYL’s regular national executive committee (NEC) meeting in Pretoria this weekend, the league said:
“The NEC wish to caution against this mushrooming celebrity wannabes who want to use this noble course for their own selfish interest.”
The NEC reiterated its long-standing support for free education and appealed to the so-called Fees Commission to fast-track its investigations into funding free education.
