ANCYL leader in court for sentencing
Updated | By Silindelo Masikane
Convicted former leader of the ANC Youth League in Johannesburg, Patrick Wisani, will appear in the Johannesburg High Court for arguments in aggravation and mitigation of sentence today.

He was found guilty of murdering his girlfriend, Nosipho Mandleleni after beating her to death with a sjambok and broomstick in Yeoville‚ in September 2015.
Wisani, who conducted his own defence during his trial, has sought legal representation for mitigation of his sentence.
In November Judge Mohamed Ismail found Wisani guilty of killing his 24-year old partner.
Wisani reacted in court by saying he is sad, but then also joked that he might start a new ANC Youth League branch in prison.
