Another day of rolling blackouts
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
Eskom has confirmed the implementation of Stage 2
load-shedding from 9am on Wednesday. The power cuts are expected to last until
10 pm.

This comes after several breakdowns in power station maintainers.
"The reasons are the same. We do not have enough generating capacity because of a huge number of unplanned outages that we are seeing on our power system," says Eskom's Khulu Phasiwe.
"We have to do a lot maintenance so that we can make that the situation improves for the beginning of the new week, next week.”
Phasiwe says it is possible that load-shedding will continue for the whole week.
"Although there are some glimmers of hope that on Friday the situation might be slightly better but at this stage it is too early to make a call.”
