Another extension to the national state of disaster

Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Nkosazana
Dlamini Zuma has extended the national state of disaster.

In a gazette released on Wednesday, the state of disaster was extended until at least 15 November.
“The extension takes into account the need to continue observing all non-pharmaceutical interventions against Covid-19 and increasing vaccinations as part of contingency measures being undertaken to mitigate against its impact,” said Dlamini-Zuma.
In a statement, the minister said the decision was taken after consultations with relevant stakeholders.
