Another 'warzone' heist in Boksburg
Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department (EMPD) have confirmed the killing of one person during an early morning cash-in-transit heist in Boksburg.
The incident happened on on Atlas Road in the early hours of Thursday morning.
This is the same street where two cash vans were bombed in May.
Boksburg residents woke up to explosions and gun shots.

EMPD's Kobedi Mokeseng says traffic has come to a standstill at the Corner of North Rand and Atlas Road.
"It unclear when the road will be opened. Unfortunately one person succumbed to his wounds and it will take long we still have to organise a mortuary van and other people to investigate the scene."

South African Police Service (SAPS) spokesperson Vishu Naidoo confirmed that a robber was killed and a security guard wounded in the attack.
