Anglican Archbishop, Thabo Makgoba has bemoaned the slow pace of the Covid-19 vaccine roll-out in the country and expressed a lack of faith in how politicians are handling the Coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking during his Easter address over the weekend, Makgoba had a message for President Cyril Ramaphosa.

"In view of the fragility of some of our health infrastructure, the president will understand if I am skeptical of how quickly the roll-out will progress," said Makgoba.

The Archbishop said while those covered by private medical schemes  can feel more confident,  "I am worried that, as is often the case, it is the poor and the marginalised who will suffer."
