Arrest of Grove mall robbers imminent
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Gauteng police say the arrest of suspects who robbed a jewellery shop at the Grove Shopping Centre on Thursday is fast approaching.

Between five and seven men stormed the store and stole an undisclosed amount of jewellery.
The police's Daniel Mavimbela says information gathered from the crime scene suggests that an arrest is looming.
Mavimbela says various police officers have been deployed to the scene.
"We have deployed our forensic division and local detectives to the scene. It is alleged about five to seven men entered into a jewellery shop at the Grove Shopping Centre and managed to get away with jewellery worth an undisclosed amount.
One suspect was injured in a shootout between the owner of the store and the suspects.
"We have information that suggest that one of the suspects was injured after the owner opened fire at the alleged intruders. At this stage we are investigating a case of business robbery."
"All of the suspects managed to escape. A manhunt has been launched. We are confident that we might be able to arrest the perpetrators," says Mavimbela.
Grove Shopping Centre management could not be reached for comment.
